Head of Tech
Job Description
The Head of Tech is responsible for defining, governing, and delivering the institution's enterprise-wide digital strategy across core banking platforms, customer-facing applications, and investment management systems. The role has full accountability for end-to-end digital delivery, including programme and project management (PMO ownership). You will partner with executive management to ensure digital transformation initiatives support revenue growth, AUM expansion, and client experience.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the enterprise digital vision and multi-year transformation roadmap
- Establish and lead a central digital PMO covering governance, budgeting, and risk
- Oversee modernization of core banking systems and digital channels
- Own all customer-facing digital applications and investor portals
- Lead end-to-end digitization of investment lifecycles
- Build and lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, UX, and data
Qualifications
- 15+ years in digital transformation, technology delivery, or programme leadership
- Proven ownership of large-scale digital programmes in regulated environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Technology, Engineering, or related discipline
