Job Description

Origin is building the next generation of endpoint security for the Semantic Era. As an Infrastructure Engineer at Origin, you will build the foundation upon which our endpoint protection platform is built, deployed, and scaled. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the cloud architecture and CI/CD frameworks. Combining principles from Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps, you will own the entire lifecycle of our services from architectural design and infrastructure provisioning to deployment, monitoring, and incident response.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain the core infrastructure that powers Origin’s endpoint protection platform
  • Develop and manage our CI/CD pipelines to automate the building, testing, and deployment of our software
  • Scale our systems sustainably through automation, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
  • Implement and manage robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
  • Collaborate closely with software engineers and security researchers
  • Practice sustainable incident response and conduct blameless postmortems

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience building and managing infrastructure in a major cloud environment (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation, Ansible, or Terraform
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with tools such as GitHub Actions
