Job Description
Chief Officer needed for an Offshore Non DP AHTS Vessel operating in Saudi Arabia. This is a 60/60 day on/off rotation project starting ASAP.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all deck operations, cargo handling, and stowage planning
- Maintain vessel stability, safety, and operational compliance
- Supervise and mentor deck crew
- Coordinate with the Master on voyage planning and navigation
- Conduct regular safety drills, audits, and emergency response exercises
- Manage maintenance schedules for deck machinery
- Ensure compliance with maritime laws and company policies
- Serve as the primary liaison for offshore contractors
Qualifications
- Previous working experience with Saudi Aramco and holds Aramco approval
- Proven experience as Chief Officer on offshore vessels
- Valid STCW certification, including Bridge Resource Management and Advanced Safety Training
- Strong understanding of maritime safety regulations
- Strong leadership and crew management skills in multinational teams
- Proficiency in navigation systems, ECDIS, and onboard management software
- Fluent in spoken and written English
