About Blacktape: Blacktape is a high-end creative house operating across events, experiential marketing, digital, and brand systems. This role is not about lead generation from zero. This role is about bringing business with you. Role Overview: We are hiring an Event & Marketing Client Acquisition Director whose primary responsibility is to land paying clients for Blacktape immediately. You must already have active relationships with decision-makers (brands, agencies, corporates, founders) who can convert into signed projects.
Responsibilities
- Land new event and marketing projects using your existing client network
- Open doors to qualified decision-makers (CMOs, Brand Directors, Founders, Procurement Heads)
- Own the commercial conversation from intro → offer → close
- Work with internal teams to structure offers that close fast
- Build a sustainable acquisition pipeline based on relationships
Qualifications
- Proven ability to bring clients with you
- Existing relationships with brands or corporates that purchase events, marketing, or experiential services
- Clear understanding of high-value offers, not commodity services
- Strong commercial judgment and deal-closing confidence
