QA QC Engineer (Instrumentation or Automation) for 2 months job, Qatar
Job Description
Experience in the oil and gas industry is responsible for ensuring that all equipment, materials, installation, and testing activities related to instrumentation and control systems comply with project specifications, industry codes, and safety regulations. This role involves both quality assurance and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
- Review contractor/vendor technical documents and drawings
- Witness Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and Site Acceptance Tests (SATs)
- Oversee inspection of instrumentation and automation installations
- Identify and track non-conformities (NCRs)
- Conduct internal and external quality audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering
- Minimum 5-10 years of specific QA/QC experience in oil and gas
- Must have experience in QatarEnergy projects & with approvals
