Intern-Energy Research Assistant
Job Description
The intern will be working in close coordination with the project team, supporting the project in background analysis and research related to renewable energy and energy efficiency systems for different types of facilities. This will include following up on projects, database and website management, communication material, surveys follow up, workshop and webinar management.
Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting site visits and data collection surveys
- Research and identify possible Energy Efficiency Measures and Renewable Energy Measures
- Assist the project team in monitoring implemented activities
- Support in preparation of energy-related presentations and technical documents
- Support in conducting workshops, webinars, and trainings
- Research best practices to accelerate energy innovation
- Assist in the maintenance and updating of website content
- Support in developing content and communication material
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme in Renewable Energy or related fields, OR final year of bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, OR recently graduated
- Excellent communication skills, especially English and Arabic languages writing and editing
- Highly motivated and skilled in problem solving
- Highly Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
