Job Description
Join Bureau Veritas to guarantee quality, ensure health and safety, mitigate risks and improve performance. This role involves field activities at LEER/FIELD building including permit systems, LOTO implementation, substation verification, ITR checks, and more.
Responsibilities
- Manage LEER/FIELD permit system and arrangements.
- Implement LOTO as per BU.
- Substation / MCC panel verification and startup.
- Coordinate all ITR checks and interlock checks.
- Perform EDG function tests and motor solo runs.
- Inspect switchgear for physical damage and verify name plate details.
- Carry out wiring and terminal checks.
- Secondary injection tests for protective relays.
- Energization and function verification for all equipment.
- HVAC commissioning and startup.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Diploma (10–15 years) or Bachelor's (8-15 years) in oil & gas projects.
- Overseas experience (Bahrain preferred).
- Knowledge of standards: IEC, IEEE, API.
- Experience with Compressor stations.
