Mechanical Technical Manager
Job Description
The Mechanical Technical Manager is responsible for work on complex technical projects and is expected to manage multiple projects and work streams concurrently. This position ensures that detailed technical investigation, design, and optimization is secured.
Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical engineering team, providing mentorship and technical guidance
- Oversee mechanical design and execution of projects (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, piping)
- Collaborate with electrical and civil teams to integrate mechanical systems
- Develop and enforce quality control measures and conduct site inspections
- Select and evaluate mechanical equipment and materials
- Oversee system commissioning, documentation, and client handover
- Monitor project costs and prevent overruns
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 8 years working experience
- 5 years in a relevant supervisory position
- 2 years GCC experience is a plus
