Job Description
As the Open Data and Freedom of Information Specialist for the NDMO Framework Phase 1 at aNumak & Company, you will be entrusted with implementing policies to promote transparency and accessibility of data for our client in Jeddah. This role requires over a decade of experience in open data initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of policies to promote transparency and accessibility of data
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess data availability
- Design and implement processes for releasing data in compliance with regulations
- Develop training programs to raise awareness of open data principles
- Monitor compliance with open data policies
- Act as a liaison with government agencies and advocacy groups
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in open data
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Public Policy, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in open data initiatives or freedom of information regulations
- In-depth knowledge of open data principles and data governance best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a consulting environment
