Job Description
Assess quality assurance and quality control of drilling fluids chemicals and additives to ensure performance as per oilfield standards. Monitor and control quality of all drilling and completion chemicals and brines.
Responsibilities
- Monitor quality assurance of all drilling chemicals
- Carry out spot checks of chemicals in stores and rigs
- Monitor chemical consumption patterns
- Establish quarterly chemical requirements
- Investigate quality discrepancies
- Trouble-shoot drilling problems
- Conduct periodical audits of supplier stores
- Ensure usage of environment friendly chemicals
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineer or equivalent
- 6 years of experience
