Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Offshore Supervisor to oversee the installation of subsea pipelines, cables, and structural elements for a major offshore project. The role requires hands-on leadership in marine spread operations, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary representative for offshore execution, coordinating day-to-day activities for cable lay, burial, and survey operations
- Collaborate closely with other offshore representatives to ensure safe and compliant execution of all offshore works
- Ensure offshore activities follow approved method statements, maintaining accurate records for all operations
- Supervise and approve offshore activities, coordinating inspections and processing project documentation as required
- Prepare daily activity reports and provide updates to project stakeholders
- Ensure coordination with other asset holders and contractors to comply with approved permits and work schedules
- Provide constructive support to contractors and project teams to resolve execution challenges
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering from an internationally recognised institution
- Minimum 10–15 years’ experience in offshore projects, including subsea pipelines, cable installation, or structural offshore works
- Experience in senior offshore roles with either contracting companies or as client/owner representatives
- Preference for experience in subsea cable lay or burial works, including barge superintendent or offshore supervision
