Youth and Civic Engagement Specialist, HES II Program, Remote
Job Description
Tetra Tech is adding a Youth and Civic Engagement Specialist to our Higher Education Scholarships (HES-II) Program Evaluation team based in Lebanon. The specialist will support the Team Lead in carrying out necessary tasks to complete the HES II evaluation, including document review, instrument development, and data collection planning. This is a short-term position expected to take place between January – May 2026.
Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze research relevant to the evaluation research questions
- Provide contextually relevant information on the youth and civic engagement programming in the MENA region and in Lebanon
- Participate in the development and revision of instruments
- Coordinate and conduct data collection efforts including conducting key informant interviews and focus group discussions
- Analyze data and contribute to report writing
- Support the development and delivery of the evaluation presentation
Qualifications
- Only Lebanese citizens are eligible for this position
- Master’s degree in education, law, international development, social sciences, or other relevant field from an accredited institution required
- Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience working on or researching topics including civic engagement, formal and nonformal education, refugee education programming, capacity strengthening, and job readiness programs, required
- Strong organizational, analytical, writing, and oral presentation skills required
- Oral and written proficiency in English and Arabic required
