Physical Server Specialist
Job Description
Manage and control online storage, configure capacity based on requests, and monitor mainframe systems. Ensure high availability for daily operations and batch processing.
Responsibilities
- Control online storage based on I/O statistics.
- Configure storage capacity for change requests.
- Maintain file directories and catalogues.
- Perform storage compaction and data migration.
- Manage mainframe console events and batch job scheduling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology.
- 3–5 years of experience in server, storage, and mainframe operations.
- Hands-on experience managing physical servers and mainframes.
- Familiarity with release and change management processes.
