Job Description

The function is dedicated to leveraging data as a strategic asset, unlocking profound insights, and fostering a culture of informed decision-making. By employing cutting-edge analytics and intelligence solutions, the Data and Analytics Section stands as a cornerstone, driving the evolution of QAFCO into a dynamic, data-centric powerhouse poised for sustained growth and excellence. The role will be the driving force behind the company’s data-driven decision-making process harnessing the power of data to provide actionable insights, inform strategy, and enhance operational efficiency. The role will be responsible for establishing the data foundation essential for digitization and building requisite intelligence into solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the overall activities pertaining to the development of data governance/architecture and data opportunities.
  • Interpret the digital strategy and related initiatives, ensuring a seamless alignment of QAFCO's overall data and analytics strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with key business stakeholders to comprehensively understand data requirements.
  • Develop efficient and effective data models and solutions that cater to the unique needs of the business.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders to develop analytics for every digital initiative.
  • Provide expert guidance to the data architect in defining policies, standards, procedures, models, and technologies.
  • Collaborate with the data architect in designing, creating, deploying, and managing QAFCO's data architecture.
  • Craft clear and compelling visualizations to empower businesses with actionable insights.
  • Lead and manage a team of data analysts, providing guidance, direction, and support.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive analytics strategy.
  • Collect and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in analytics tools.
  • Drive data governance initiatives by establishing data quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Business and IT teams to optimize data infrastructure.
  • Effectively communicate complex analytical findings and insights through presentations.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years direct and relevant experience.
  • Certifications in data management systems and analytics tools will be added as an advantage.
