Assistant Director of Food & Beverage
Job Description
Provides leadership to all F&B outlets including Restaurants, In Room Dining, and Beverage outlets. Manages daily activities, monitors performance, and ensures operational policies and safety guidelines (HACCP, OSHA) are maintained. Assists the Director of F&B in strategic planning, budget administration, and cost control. Creates marketing opportunities for outlets to draw local market clientele. Researches market trends and ensures teams are properly trained in food safety.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily performance of F&B management and service teams
- Maintain HACCP, OSHA, and regional beverage guidelines
- Assist in budget administration and forecasting
- Create marketing and promotional opportunities
- Interview, select, and train employees
- Conduct performance appraisals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 4 years F&B experience OR 2-year hospitality/business degree with 2 years experience
