VP - IT Delivery & Digital Enablement - Airline Operations
Job Description
To lead the strategic direction of technology in alignment with corporate objectives, the role is responsible for leveraging digital capabilities to drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and innovation. You will identify emerging technologies, enhance cross-functional collaboration, and ensure governance and scalability of IT operations.
Responsibilities
- Drives the strategic direction of IT in alignment with business priorities
- Lead enterprise-wide planning and execution of IT investments
- Collaborate with executive leadership to support growth and customer-centricity
- Champion digital enablement initiatives and transformation programs
- Scout industry best-of-breed IT solutions and emerging technologies
- Build and maintain a network of vendors and strategic technology partners
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to accelerate innovation
- Ensure governance, scalability, and measurable value from IT investments
- Drive Service Management and ensure effective IT support
- Manage IT budgets and oversee the annual work programme
- Coach and mentor a team of high performing IT professionals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Master’s degree in engineering or MBA is preferred
- 15 years of experience in IT Management, Product, Project delivery
- Minimum of 5 years' experience at IT Leadership role on Transformation programs
- Airline Industry knowledge
- PMP and SAFe certifications
