Kitchen Steward
Job Description
As part of the team, the Kitchen Steward is responsible for cleaning food processing facilities, storage rooms, walk-in fridges, kitchen utensils, and holding areas. The role requires working in close cooperation with kitchen and service employees, performing all tasks as per given instructions, and ensuring minimum wastage or breakage.
Responsibilities
- Clean food processing facilities, storage rooms, walk in fridge’s, kitchen utensils, immediate corridors and holding areas
- Work in close cooperation with all kitchen and service employees
- Work as per duty schedule and shifts
- Perform all stewarding tasks as per given instructions
- Ensure minimum wastage, breakage and spoilage
Qualifications
- Vocational training in food & beverage
- Previous experiences as a Kitchen Steward
- Command of English is essential
