Job Description
The TVET and Labour Market Specialist will lead the technical assessment of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) component, with a particular focus on labour-market relevance, employability, private-sector linkages, and skills governance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the assessment of the TVET system
- Analyse accessibility and labour market relevance of TVET
- Examine the quality of training delivery and facilities
- Analyse linkages between TVET institutions and employers
- Assess governance arrangements and accreditation systems
- Contribute to the Draft and Final Assessment Reports
Qualifications
- Advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in Education, Economics, Labour Economics, or related field
- Minimum 8–10 years of professional experience in TVET, skills development, or labour market analysis
- Demonstrated experience conducting TVET assessments
- Excellent analytical and drafting skills in English
