Control & Automation Engineer – Design & Commissioning
Job Description
Responsible for all aspects of design including the technical assessment and recommendations on materials, equipment etc. provided to customers as part of contracts. Planning and implementation of the relevant design activities.
Responsibilities
- Technical assessment and recommendations on materials
- Reviewing documents/drawings
- Planning and implementation of design activities
- Prepare engineering input for planning
- Provide inputs for manufacturing and pre-commissioning
- Design checks on drawings
- Monitor drafting team
- Reviewing bid evaluation
- Prepare material requisitions
- Preparation of MTOs, calculations, and reports
- All testing/commissioning activities
- Ensure/prepare test plans and procedures
- Conducting functional and performance tests
- Liaises with clients
- Trouble shooting errors
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years in the field of oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical process design & commissioning
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering
