Senior Electrical Engineer (HV/MV)
Job Description
The Senior Electrical Engineer (MV/HV & Primary Substation) will represent the Client on site for all medium- and high-voltage electrical systems, including the Primary Substation. Critical to ensuring safe installation, testing, energization, and commissioning readiness of MV/HV systems supplying the factory.
Responsibilities
- Act as the Client’s on-site electrical engineering representative for MV/HV works
- Review and comment on designs, protection philosophies, and method statements
- Oversee primary substation, power transformers, and MV switchgear execution
- Witness and review testing and commissioning activities
- Monitor implementation of QA/QC systems
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in industrial or large-scale construction projects
- Experience working in a client-side or Consultant role
