Spare Parts Planning & Performance Officer
Job Description
The Spare Parts Planning & Performance Officer role is responsible for developing and maintaining a data-driven framework to enhance spare parts sales, inventory management, and profitability. You will support the Spare Parts Product Manager by delivering structured analytics, performance tracking, demand forecasting, and inventory optimization insights to drive revenue growth, margin improvement, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Analyze lost sales data across all brands
- Identify high-demand SKUs not in stock
- Quantify missed revenue opportunities
- Deliver monthly reports with actionable recommendations
- Conduct inventory aging analysis (0–90 / 90–180 / 180+ days)
- Monitor stock reservations & fast-moving SKUs
- Track fill rates and backorders
- Recommend replenishment, transfer, or liquidation strategies
- Prepare brand-level dashboards
- Analyze revenue, GP, and SKU contribution
- Identify growth and optimization opportunities
- Monitor sales performance by salesperson
- Measure parts attach rate to unit sales
- Analyze upsell ratio & average order value
- Provide data-driven improvement insights
- Support demand forecasting & seasonal planning
- Assist with procurement and stock coverage calculations
- Analyze MOQ impact & cash flow considerations
- Provide monthly purchase recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in analytics, supply chain, automotive, marine, or heavy equipment sectors
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, formulas) & Power BI
- ERP system experience is a plus
