Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Vice President to lead end‑to‑end post‑trade custody operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The role will own strategy, execution, risk & control, client experience, and transformation across the KSA post‑trade ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Own the KSA post‑trade strategy; set clear KPIs, SLAs, controls, and documentation
  • Lead securities clearing and settlement at Edaa
  • Oversee DvP cash settlement via SAMA through our cash correspondent bank
  • Direct FX operational support (confirmations, value dates, SSIs)
  • Own end‑to‑end corporate actions and income processing
  • Govern client onboarding and account set‑up
  • Act as first line of defence: strengthen the control environment and implement RCSA
  • Ensure adherence to market cutoffs and procedures
  • Own incident management, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • Build and lead a high‑performing team of managers and specialists
  • Engage at executive level with clients and manage SLAs
  • Lead automation and digitization initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master's/MBA preferred
  • 12–15+ years in post‑trade operations (settlement, corporate actions, cash/FX, reconciliations)
  • 5–8+ years in people leadership
  • Strong KSA/Middle East market expertise with working knowledge of Saudi Exchange, Muqassa (CCP), Edaa (CSD), and SAMA payments
  • Hands-on knowledge of SWIFT ISO 15022 (MT) and exposure to ISO 20022 (MX) SWIFT messaging
  • Demonstrated experience building controls, managing audits, and driving process re‑engineering and automation
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv and corporate‑actions systems
