Job Description
The Mason position at Raffles the Palm Dubai is responsible for carrying out masonry-related work, including the maintenance and repair of floors, walls, and marble surfaces, as well as grouting activities. The role involves completing tasks as assigned by the Civil Supervisor or Maintenance Engineers and maintaining the Civil log book. Raffles the Palm is a luxurious five-star hotel with 353 rooms on Palm Jumeirah.
Responsibilities
- Carry out masonry work on walls, floors, and other items as directed
- Perform repairs to wall plaster, renderings, and building walls
- Carry out erection of new walls and demolition of existing walls
- Perform repair work on wall and floor tile work
- Maintain and repair all civil works through a preventive maintenance program
- Complete work orders with due diligence and maintain the Civil log book
- Participate in the emergency response team
Qualifications
- High School graduate, related technical or trades certification
- At least 5 years’ experience as a civil technician, preferably in the hospitality Industry
