Job Description
The Category Head is responsible for outlining the responsibility for a product group's strategy, sales, and profitability, involving market analysis, supplier negotiation, pricing, promotion, inventory, and cross-functional collaboration with Marketing & Retail to meet business goals.
Responsibilities
- Provides focus and direction for product management teams
- Manage budgets and ensure profitability for category
- Analyze financial statements and performance indicators
- Develop Quantified M.B.O. plans
- Lead and develop a high-performing team
- Oversee product assortment and ensure stock levels
- Develop products’ price lists for retail and corporate
- Network and build relationships within target market
Qualifications
- College or University Graduate in Marketing or Business
