Senior Associate - Urban Planning
Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Associate in Urban Planning to join our dynamic team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of urban development within the region. You will lead strategic planning initiatives, oversee major development projects, and drive infrastructure improvements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and analysis of comprehensive urban planning strategies
- Conduct detailed site assessments and land-use analyses using GIS
- Prepare technical documentation, zoning studies, and regulatory compliance reports
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers
- Engage strategically with government agencies and senior clients
- Review and evaluate development proposals for compliance
- Utilise CAD software and advanced urban design tools to create visualisations
- Oversee project timelines and budgets
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in urban planning, urban design, or related field
- Professional certification in urban planning or related discipline (AICP, RTPI, or equivalent) is preferred
