Ruby Labs is a leading tech company that creates and operates innovative consumer products. We offer a diverse range of opportunities across the health, education, and entertainment industries. We have a D2C subscription product that will be in its early market phase by the time you join. We are looking for a Managing Director who will take it from this early stage to global market leadership. Your mission is to build a world-class team, establish robust processes, and develop the product into the dominant player in our niche.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the company's strategic growth by developing and executing initiatives that drive business expansion, optimize market positioning, and establish product-market fit
  • Lead cross-functional teams in executing complex strategic initiatives
  • Drive revenue growth and establish profitability while optimizing operational expenses
  • Oversee the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions
  • Ensure that the product roadmap is aligned with business strategy and early customer feedback
  • Oversee marketing campaigns, ensuring they are data-driven and customer-centric
  • Utilize data analytics to refine and optimize growth strategies
  • Continuously monitor and analyze key financial and operational metrics, such as revenue growth, EBITDA margins, and customer acquisition costs (CAC)
  • Evaluate customer lifetime value (LTV) and return on ad spend (ROAS)
  • Track onboarding conversion rates and analyze average revenue per user (ARPU) and user retention rates

Qualifications

  • Dynamic and hands-on leader with extensive experience in the D2C Digital Products (preferably subscriptions)
  • Deep understanding of engineering, product, marketing, and growth strategies
  • Proven ability to manage teams, deliver results under pressure, and deeply engage in the technical and operational aspects of the business
