Senior Structural Engineer
Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record in site supervision within the construction consultancy sector on roads & highways projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the structural design and analysis of transportation infrastructure projects, including bridges, tunnels, viaducts, retaining walls, and other related structures.
- Conduct structural assessments, load calculations, and finite element analyses to evaluate structural performance, durability, and resilience.
- Provide technical oversight and guidance during the construction phase of structural projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance with engineering specifications.
- Implement rigorous quality assurance and control measures.
- Identify opportunities for value engineering and innovation to optimize structural designs.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate structural risks associated with construction activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Engage with clients, stakeholders, regulatory authorities, and communities.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on site supervision within the construction consultancy sector.
- Professional engineering license or equivalent certification preferred.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in structural design, analysis, and construction of transportation infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro) and computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
