Job Description
The Chief Accountant is responsible for managing the full accounting cycle, ensuring accurate financial records, statutory compliance, and timely reporting for an automotive retail business in the UAE.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition across sales and services
- Manage vendor accounts, contracts, and payment requests
- Monitor monthly cash flow and prepare forecasts
- Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules
- Lead the annual budgeting process
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 8-12 years of accounting experience
