Financial Business Analyst
Job Description
Apex is seeking a Financial Business Analyst to support the ongoing development and management of our enterprise pricing model and growth strategy. Working under the Director of Finance, this role will help maintain and enhance pricing tools, monitor key performance metrics, provide analytical support for deal evaluations and pricing initiatives, and support the broader business.
Responsibilities
- Supporting DOCO in maintaining and updating pricing databases and inputs
- Conduct analyses to identify pricing trends and inconsistencies
- Organize data for win theme analysis and predictive pricing
- Support rollout of pricing strategy by preparing analyses and margin summaries
- Track non-standard pricing requests and maintain records of deal approvals
- Build and maintain dashboards tracking pricing performance and deal quality
- Assist in modeling the financial impact of price changes
- Provide analytical support to Sales and Ops teams during proposal development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field required
- 5+ years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or business analytics
- Professional services or project-based industries experience required, AEC preferred
- Proficiency in Excel required
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, DOMO, etc.) preferred
- Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills
