Job Description
The Rig Manager is responsible for an assigned onshore or offshore drilling rig's safe, efficient, and profitable operation. This position serves as the primary client liaison and fosters positive relationships.
Responsibilities
- Oversee safe and efficient rig operations
- Serve as primary client liaison
- Minimize distractions for Rig Supervisors
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations
- Optimize drilling performance and minimize downtime
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or High School
- 15 years of experience in drilling operations including 5 years as rig manager
- Valid IWCF or IADC well control certificate – Supervisor Level
- Stuck pipe certification
