Job Description
GEMS American Academy in Qatar is currently looking for a hard-working and talented individual to join our elementary school team. Key responsibilities include delivering the curriculum, planning quality lessons, and maintaining records.
Responsibilities
- Embrace and encourage GEMS core values
- Deliver the required curriculum
- Plan and deliver quality lessons to motivate students
- Establish and maintain records of plans, attendance, assessment etc.
- Assess, record and report on academic development
- Participate in appraisal and CPD
- Monitor and supervise student behavior
- Communicate and meet with parents regularly
Qualifications
- Hold a B.Ed or bachelors degree in relevant field with PGCE/PGDE or equivalent level 5 teaching qualification
- At least 2 years teaching experience in relevant subject area or age group
