Job Description
We're looking for a sharp Government Affairs Manager to support the delivery of high-profile public affairs campaigns in the UAE. You'll lead on key policy areas, influence cutting-edge topics around financial services, and shape the debate across the region.
Responsibilities
- Executing the day-to-day delivery of key public affairs campaigns in the UAE.
- Supporting the Head of Government Affairs in public affairs strategy.
- Providing strategic advice to the regional CEO on policy and licensing issues.
- Analyzing legislation and understanding threats and opportunities.
- Building a network of trusted relationships with government and regulators.
- Monitoring political debate and regulatory initiatives.
- Working with software engineers to build engagement tools.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in public affairs within the UAE or Gulf region.
- Experience working in technical, highly regulated policy areas.
- Ability to analyze complex policy, legislation, and regulation.
- Passion for technology and financial policy.
- Excellent written communication skills.
