Job Description
The Demi Chef (Pastry) plays a key supporting role in delivering refined pastry and dessert offerings within a luxury kitchen environment. This position assists the Chef de Partie in daily pastry operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation and baking of high-quality desserts
- Support daily operations of the pastry section
- Ensure consistency in taste and presentation
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and HACCP regulations
- Control food wastage and support stock rotation
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or Pastry (preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in pastry or bakery section
