Security Officer

Job Description

As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of the hotel property, guests, colleagues, and assets. Your role involves patrolling designated areas, monitoring access control, and responding to security incidents.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol designated areas of the hotel property to deter and detect security breaches
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to identify suspicious activities
  • Conduct regular security checks of access points, doors, and windows
  • Respond to security incidents, breaches, and emergencies as needed
  • Enforce safety and security regulations and policies
  • Assist in providing directions and assistance to guests and colleagues
  • Maintain accurate records of security activities and incidents
  • Report any security concerns, incidents, or breaches to the security supervisor
  • Collaborate with the security team to maintain a secure environment
  • Participate in security training and drills to enhance security skills
  • Monitor and control access to restricted areas of the hotel
  • Provide support during events and gatherings to ensure security
  • Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly manner
