Nurse Reviewer (part-time / remote)
Job Description
Liberty Healthcare operates a statewide program in Idaho which assesses children and adults who are living with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or autism. As Liberty’s Nurse Reviewer, you will apply your nursing expertise to determine eligibility for intense 1:1 support services.
Responsibilities
- Gaining knowledge of regulations related to 1:1 supports
- Reviewing health information of children and adults
- Identifying gaps or inconsistencies in documentation
- Collaborating to make approval or denial determinations
- Creating professional and evidence-based determination letters
- Attending weekly virtual meetings
Qualifications
- Currently licensed in Idaho as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- At least two years of nursing experience related to case management or long-term care
- Computer proficiency and solid writing skills
- Knowledge of IDAPA regulations preferred
