Job Description

The SVP, Commercial is responsible for defining and executing the company’s sales strategy to drive top-line growth. This player-coach role oversees sales, marketing, and business development, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and market opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy
  • Direct all sales activities to achieve revenue and profitability goals
  • Oversee sales management functions, including training, recruiting, and proposal development
  • Lead and develop the business development team
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners
  • Identify new markets and lead expansion initiatives
  • Align marketing strategies with commercial objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Business, Marketing, or Sales Management
  • 15-20+ years progressive sales and sales leadership experience
  • At least 10 years of Life Science industry experience
  • At least 10 years of experience selling professional services in a complex sales environment
  • Proven experience hiring, training, and managing business development professionals
  • Passport for travel is required
