Executive Pastry Chef
Job Description
Exhibits creative baking and decorating talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff in preparing quality and consistent pastries for all areas. Works to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget.
Responsibilities
- Supervises and manages all day-to-day pastry operations
- Develops, designs, or creates new pastry applications and artistic contributions
- Ensures compliance with all Food & Beverage policies, standards, and procedures
- Maintains food preparation, handling, and storage standards
- Participates in training staff on menu items and preparation methods
- Purchases appropriate supplies and manages inventories according to budget
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED and 4 years experience in culinary OR 2-year degree in Culinary Arts and 2 years experience
