Mechanical Inspector
Job Description
Egis is an international player active in architecture, consulting, construction engineering and mobility services. The Mechanical Inspector role involves conducting site inspections, documenting property conditions, and verifying material compliance to ensure permanent works comply with contract documents and safety practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections prior to the commencement of construction activities
- Photograph and record existing property conditions
- Review materials delivered to the site for compliance
- Verify proper storage of delivered materials
- Inspect the construction of permanent works for compliance with contract documents
- Maintain detailed daily logs and reports
- Monitor site safety practices and work progress
- Support inspections of completed works and prepare punch lists
Qualifications
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Solid knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, and industry trade practices
- Proficient in computer applications relevant to the role
