Radioactive Waste Management Expert
Job Description
As part of our expanding footprint in the region, we are currently seeking a qualified Tecno-commercial Radioactive Waste Management (RWM) Sr. Expert to manage the technical and commercial aspects of radioactive waste management, ensuring compliance with regulations and cost-effective solutions. The role includes supporting the development of a feasibility study for establishing an RWM company, overseeing the partner selection process, and supporting the design and construction of RWM Satellite Storage and final disposal facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing an RWM feasibility study
- Oversee the partner selection process
- Analyze techno-commercial aspects for cost-effectiveness
- Ensure all RWM activities adhere to national and international regulations
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols
- Support design and construction of storage and disposal facilities
- Prepare reports, audits, and compliance documents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Environmental/Nuclear Engineering, Radiation Protection, or a related field
- 15+ years in radioactive waste management
- At least 5 years in senior or expert roles
- Proven experience working with top consulting firms (e.g., PwC, McKinsey, Strategy&)
