Pediatrician
Job Description
The Pediatrician is responsible for the health, wellness treatment and medical care for children from birth to early adulthood. The Consultant accepts ultimate responsibility for the care of all patients under their name.
Responsibilities
- Assumes direct responsibility for patients in the assigned unit
- Diagnose, treat, manage and admit patients
- Referring patients requiring specialized medical care
- Participation in quality improvement and risk management programs
- Performs relevant interventions related to specialization
- Writes and approves medical records
- Provides guidance to other departments
Qualifications
- Medical degree with appropriate board qualification (ABMS, RCPS-C, GMC/CCST, etc.)
- Experience in the ambulatory surgical and outpatient setting
- Valid Primary License and eligible for Consultant's license in Qatar with DHP
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR required
