Job Description

Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah Riyadh is looking for a Government Sales Manager. Based within the Sales Department in Riyadh, the Government Sales Manager is responsible for ensuring comprehensive and complete coverage of their own sales portfolio, covering all levels of accounts and all revenue streams within the account for comprehensive client servicing, achieving targets and maximum productivity. The role manages activities related to the sales functions with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of property sales objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Together with the Director of Sales & Marketing, implement agreed rate structure and strategy for assigned market segments
  • Establish and maintain effective working relations both within the department and with other departments
  • Attend select trade and travel functions, i.e. trade shows and to promote sales and image for the hotel
  • Plan and execute sales trips to major market areas, reporting new potential markets that should be considered
  • Provide feedback and market information to the Director of Sales & Marketing relating to changing market conditions
  • Maintain close relationships with all key decision-makers, both in local and international markets
