Job Description
Utility Cleaners play an important role in support of a number of vital hotel functions across departments such as kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry. Responsibilities include preparing clean linen and dining ware, operating and maintaining cleaning equipment like dish washing machines and linen washers, and transporting items across the hotel. Associates must create a safe workplace, follow company policies, and uphold quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh clean linen and spotless dining ware
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools (e.g., dish washing machines, hand wash stations, linen washers and dryers)
- Transport dishware or linens across the hotel
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
Qualifications
- No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
- No related work experience required
- No supervisory experience required
