Job Description
Maintain existing relationships, and solicit acceptable new relationships, by originating, structuring, participating, and syndicating large project/trade/working capital financing transactions to achieve pre-set financial/non-financial objective. Provide leadership and guidance to the assigned structured Finance/Debt Markets team.
Responsibilities
- Identify and segment target market, develop new business to broad base the portfolio
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in key Local/Regional/International Banks
- Introduce MB as a player in the development and participation of the emerging Debt Capital Market opportunities
- Review the existing portfolio in a timely manner and establish appropriate account plan
- Recommend appropriate credit facilities in line with the bank’s credit policy
- Manage the day to day tasks of the SFF Unit, and train, develop, motivate and evaluate the team
- Identify/develop cross sell opportunities with LOB
- Manage the unit SRM/RM & allocate individual targets
Qualifications
- Complete knowledge and clear understanding of the bank’s credit policy and operating systems
- Strong credit and legal knowledge and marketing skills mandatory
- Thorough awareness of various financial products/services and knowledge of the local/regional/international dept. markets
- Excellent communications and analytical skills with ability to perform as a team player
- Proven leadership qualities is an imperative
- A CA/MBA is preferred with minimum marketing/corporate finance experience of 15 years
