Software Engineer - Front End
Job Description
Tomo is a digital mortgage company on a mission to eliminate the greed and complexity in lending. You'll be joining our demand generation or efficiency teams to build transparent, delightful experiences to demystify the mortgage process. We're looking for someone who has empathy for homebuyers and enjoys building technology that improves their journey.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain customer experiences using Typescript, React and Next.js
- Design, style and test with Tailwind, Storybook and Vitest
- Contribute to API design and integration patterns
- Deploy and support systems in production as part of an on-call rotation
- Follow healthy engineering practices including code review and automated testing
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience delivering software projects to production
- Proficiency with React and/or Next.js
- Understanding of modern software engineering practices (logging, monitoring, testing)
