Job Description
The Traffic and Maintenance Officer is responsible for managing fleet operations and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance for vehicles and equipment to ensure availability, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and monitor vehicle movements and assign drivers
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs
- Coordinate maintenance teams for emergency and planned repairs
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and equipment
- Monitor maintenance and fuel costs and prepare reports
- Coordinate with external contractors, suppliers, and insurance
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and traffic laws
- Prepare fleet performance reports (availability, downtime, costs)
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fleet management or vehicle/equipment maintenance
- Valid driving license
