Elite Talent is hiring a Senior Cost Control specialist in Baghdad for a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on monitoring raw material and labor costs, performing variance analysis, and identifying cost optimization opportunities to improve production efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Monitor manufacturing costs including materials, labor, and overhead
- Develop standard costing systems aligned with BOM structures
- Perform detailed cost variance analysis and report deviations
- Identify cost optimization opportunities with production teams
- Support annual budgeting and rolling forecasts
- Analyze production efficiency, yield, and scrap
- Participate in new product costing and feasibility studies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Engineering
- 8-12 years of experience in cost control within manufacturing
