Sales and Billing Operations Manager
Job Description
The Sales Operations & Billing Manager is responsible for optimizing and supporting the end-to-end sales process for satellite connectivity plans and services. This role ensures operational excellence, accurate forecasting, pricing governance, CRM integrity, billing operations and smooth cross-functional coordination across sales, finance, technical, and operations teams to achieve Sama X‘s revenue, margin, and growth.
Responsibilities
- Design and improve sales processes, workflows, and tools.
- Support the CCO in developing sales plans and accurate revenue forecasts.
- Monitor KPIs: sales pipeline health, conversion ratios, average sales cycle, churn, and utilization rates.
- Support pricing, margin validation, and offer structuring.
- Develop sales templates, playbooks, and product guides.
- Monitor CRM configuration and reporting.
- Support proposals, RFP submissions, and documentation.
- Oversee end-to-end billing for Starlink services.
- Act as liaison between Sales, Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Telecom, or related field
- 15+ years of experience in sales operations in satellite, telecom, ISP, or technology sectors
- Strong CRM knowledge (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Dynamics)
- MBA is a plus
