Field LAN Lead Engineer
Job Description
Responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of local area network infrastructure across multiple sites. This role requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of LAN/WAN solutions
- Manage and mentor a team of network engineers
- Develop and maintain network policies, procedures, and documentation
- Conduct regular network performance assessments and optimization
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide timely resolutions
- Ensure compliance with security standards and implement safeguards
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations for critical issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in LAN engineering with at least 2 years in a leadership role
