Job Description
ASD is looking for a technology and Robotics teacher to teach courses that emphasize website development, graphic design, digital technology, and Robotics to MS/HS school students.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with defined curriculum.
- Deliver hands-on programs in web development, graphic design, and robotics.
- Maintain attendance and grade records.
- Evaluate and grade students' class work.
- Assist students with coursework outside of class.
- Initiate and moderate classroom discussions.
- Keep abreast of field developments.
- Collaborate with colleagues on research issues.
- Provide supervision to after-school activities or coaching.
- Manage technology inventory and software subscriptions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science (master’s preferred).
- Certification as a teacher.
- Experience as a technology and robotics teacher in MS/HS.
- Excellent command of English, both written and oral.
