General Manager
Job Description
A General Manager is a high-level executive tasked with managing the day-to-day operations of an organization while guiding its strategic direction for business growth. The GM ensures that all departments work cohesively to achieve organizational goals, maintain financial stability, and deliver operational excellence achieving sustainable business growth. GM act as the central point of leadership, coordinating with Higher management and department heads, supervisors, and other concerned parties to optimize performance and efficiency gaining customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement long-term strategies aligned with company objectives
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring workflows are efficient and compliant
- Manage budgets, forecast revenue, control costs, and monitor profit and loss (P&L) statements
- Hire, train, and retain top talent
- Maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, investors, and board members
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze operational data
- Identify potential risks and enforce compliance with regulations
- Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain high standards of service or quality
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, Engineering background with MBA or a related field
- Several years of leadership experience
- Experience in GCC market and consultancy Firms
